学院简介

東安格利亞大學University of East Anglia 座落于諾威奇成立于1961年，由18個學院和一些研究機構組成。目前，共有學生8,300人，其中本科生6,100人，研究生2,200人。如果包括修讀基礎課程的學生，該校外國留學生總數達1,500人，其中約90名中國學生。

學校在教學和科研等諸多領域都有著輝煌的成就。

其新聞傳媒類專業，在英國大學的專業排名中名列全英第二名。

生物科學和工程專業，最近被英國教育投資委員會授予滿分5分的最高評價，是英國4個得到滿分的大學之一。

環境科學是當今世界的導引性邊緣科學。該大學的環境科學系是該專業英國最大的系科，并且最近被最近被英國教育投資委員會授予滿分5分，評價為:極其出色。

另外，該校在以下領域也卓有成就：計算機，商科，醫療保健，信息技術等。

從大學乘公共汽車很快便可到達諾威奇市中心。許多學生喜歡騎自行車。從諾威奇市到倫敦和倫敦的三個機場大約只需兩個小時。諾威奇國際機場有直達阿姆斯特丹和世界其它各地的航班。

校園內建有商店、銀行和自動洗衣店等設施。建立了一套完善的保健、福利和咨詢服務系統，包括一個為外國留學生提供專家咨詢意見的學生處、一個專門的學生咨詢服務處、一個大學保健中心(提供國民保健制度下的醫療服務和牙科保健)、一個多教派教堂以及一個獨立的清真寺。學生會協調組織100多個學生俱樂部和協會的活動，其中包括一個外國留學生協會和幾個全國性的團體。那些不想自己做飯的學生可以在學校四個全天供應伙食的食堂進餐。

圖書館：大學圖書館藏書70余萬冊，并有5千多種錄象資料供使用。館內的計算機設施為學生每天開放，可供24小時隨時使用。

該校具有全英條件最好的學生宿舍。大部分宿舍包括獨立的衛生間。當然也仍然有少數的普通單間宿舍。
