鄧迪大學 University Of Dundee創建于1881年，目前大學其有近萬名全日制學生，其中大多數是英國學生。鄧迪大學從生命科學領域到設計領域在國際上都久享盛譽。大學的理工學院開設有解剖學、計算機應用、生化生物醫學研究等十多個專業。法律與會計學院在英國享有較高聲譽。人文與社會科學院在英國均受到廣泛好評并得到世界各國的認可。鄧迪大學畢業生就業率較穩定。其畢業生就業率排名英國第十。鄧迪大學是蘇格蘭大學中課程設置最多的一所，學生入讀費及生活費用較低，在英國百所大學是最具有競爭力。大學擁有最現代化的教學設施。圖書館平均花在每位學生的費用在英國排名第十。學校為學生提供接機、住宿、咨詢、顧問、就業、注冊等廣泛服務。

地理位置

大學坐落于蘇格蘭的第四大城市鄧迪市的市中心，地理位置十分理想。鄧迪是一個大學城，依山傍海。去阿伯丁、愛丁堡和格拉斯哥只需一個多小時，到倫敦坐火車要 6 小時。院系相當緊湊，除醫學和護理學院，其他系都在鄧迪市郊的一座校園內。

學院設置

鄧迪大學共有7所學院，即藝術與社會科學學院、教育和社會工作學院、法律與會計學院、理工學院、約旦斯通學院和醫療牙科與護理學院及生命科學院。大多數進行科研活動院系均被政府研究評估委員會認定為4分或多或5分（5分是指研究達到國際優異水平）。鄧迪大學在生化、土木工程、應用計算機、設計、美術以及電視與影像等領域擁有突出優勢、經濟學、金融學、會計學以及工程學，均以其高質量的教學和友好的學習環境著稱。特別值得一提的是，鄧迪是世界上擁有最多科學進行探索癌癥的成因和治療方法的大學之一。

學生生活

全�，F有1.25萬學生，外國留學生占8%，歐共體學生占5%。大多數學生居住在校內或離校園很近的大學宿舍。大學的教學設施、學生宿舍以及體育運動設施和學生的社交場所均在校園內，這就創造了鄧迪大學學生的集體意識和輕松友好的氛圍.

在鄧迪的生活費用比在英國其它許多地方都便宜，每年大約需5000英鎊生活費用，其中包括住宿、食品、服裝、娛樂、學習和去歐美等國旅游的花費。大學保證第一年來我校就讀的外國留學生的住宿，住宿的形式有包餐公寓和不包餐公寓兩種。每周住宿費從36～75鎊不等，而且絕大多數的學生宿舍都在校園內，或校園附近。
